The ICT Service Assistant program teaches students the basics of computer hardware and software configuration, setting up peripherals, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.
ICT Service Assistants work under the supervision of a manager and are responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems. They must follow instructions and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Tasks range from basic hardware installation to complex software troubleshooting. Assistants must follow standard procedures while also being able to solve problems independently.
